The Liebster Blog Award (fiber hound dogs, pet bunnies, porcelain installation art and Nepal…)

Greetings and good morning to you! The weather has been absolutely beautiful out here in Colorado this week. The mornings are cool and the sun shines brightly on my ever-growing radishes as the morning breaks into the afternoon. Spring is here and the birds are singing!

Today it is with a humble heart that I write this post. I’ve been nominated for the Liebster Blog Award by The Grubby Hen: a good food blog with tantalizingly tasty photos of even tastier food! Swing by and check it out…

Well, that’s great you may say, but what does that mean?! Here’s a little info about the Liebster Blog Award and what that means for me:

Liebster is a German word, meaning dearest or beloved, but it can also mean favourite. The idea behind the Liebster Blog Award is that it is given to talented and/or loved bloggers who have less than 200 followers in order to create new connections and to bring attention to these wonderful blogs!

There are a few rules that go along with accepting the award:

– Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
– Link back to the presenter who presented the award to you.
– Copy and paste the award on to your blog.
– Present the Liebster Blog Award to 5 blogs with 200 followers or less who you feel deserve to be noticed.
– Let them know they have been chosen by leaving a comment on their blog.

Easy enough! Here are my picks:

Amy Uthus Ceramics: a self-declared porcelain junkie using this clay body and light to create seriously awesome installation art

The Life and Times of Lauren deSerres Kelischek: food, fiber, installation art, and a seriously adorable hound dog made of fabric….

Kevin & Sally in Nepal: dear family friends that will be serving with Tiny Hands International in Nepal, bringing relief to those who suffer some of the world’s most terrific injustices

hello, bird: a little food, a little garden dirt and an adorable bunny named Pancake!

Mom Up or Go Home: insight into a casein free home: living with food allergies

I know, I know, all over the board! But, I know so many wonderfully talented and passionate people who are doing amazing things…Nice work everybody!
